Environmental Improvement Programme - March 2019 to December 2022

Adelaide Brighton Cement is licensed under the Environmental Protection Act 1993 to operate a cement works at the Birkenhead Plant. The object of the Operating Licence is to minimise emissions and impacts associated with the operation of the cement manufacturing facility.

In accordance with our licence, we manage an Environmental Improvement Plan (EIP), endorsed by the Environment Protection Authority (EPA). To do this we are addressing a range of issues including fugitive dust, noise and any other environmental issues identified in consultation with the CLG and the adjacent community.
